Star Note

Star Note is our little shop located just off Gandhi Road. We basically deal with paper, pens, and all the stuff students and office workers need on a daily basis. My family and I have been running things here, and it's mostly about keeping the shelves stocked with whatever folks are asking for. Some days it’s mostly just kids coming in for notebooks before school starts, and other days we get busy with people looking for specific files or ledger books. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot where people know our names. The shop isn't huge, so things can get a bit crowded when a lot of people come in at once. We try to keep it organized, but with so many different types of pens and paper, it’s a constant job. Gandhi Road is usually noisy, so the shop feels like a quiet corner once you step inside. We don't have a big fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us. If someone needs a particular kind of notebook we don't have, we usually try to find it for them by the next week. It’s honest work. We see the same faces every month, which is nice. You get to know what people like and what they don't. It’s been this way for a while now and we don't plan on changing much. Just a simple place for simple needs. It's just a regular local shop. We're happy here.
