Singh (Accounts/Business )

Over at Singh (Accounts/Business), we handle things from our spot at No-319, Karanpur Chowk. We are located right near the Laxmi Narayan Mandir in Dehradun. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something happening outside our window. We focus on accounts and business studies, mainly because that’s what we know best. The space isn’t very large, but we’ve organized it so everyone has a place to sit and write. It’s a bit of a traditional setup. We use regular notebooks and pens, and we spend a lot of time going over ledger entries and business theories. We’ve been in this part of Karanpur for years. The locals know us, and we know them. It’s a tight-knit community here. We don’t really do any formal advertising. Most of our students come to us because their older siblings or friends did. It feels more like a community service sometimes, though it is our livelihood. The afternoon sun hits the front of the building quite strongly, but we have some curtains to keep it cool enough inside. We aren't a big institution with hundreds of employees. It’s just us, working through the syllabus and making sure the students understand their balance sheets and accounting rules. It’s practical, everyday work that helps people get through their exams. We are usually here six days a week, and sometimes on Sundays if there is an exam coming up soon for the students.
