Servants Of Shankara Foundation

Our office is at 647 Haridwar Road in Rishikesh. It’s right on the main road, so there is always the sound of cars and trucks going by. It’s a very busy area, especially during the pilgrimage season. We are the Servants Of Shankara Foundation. Our space isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We have a few shelves filled with spiritual books and some files about our daily activities. It’s mostly just a place where we can sit and think or talk to people who come by. Rishikesh is a special place, and we feel lucky to have a spot here. The building is a bit old and the windows don't close perfectly, so we get a bit of dust from the road. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. Just a few pictures and a calendar. Our staff is very small, just two or three of us. We spend a lot of time answering questions from people who are visiting the town. We don't have a big budget or a lot of resources. We just do what we can with the little we have. Sometimes we sit outside and watch the crowds go by. It’s a good place to be if you want to feel connected to the world. We don't have any big meetings or events. We just stay open and see who the day brings to our door.
