Saxena Anand Prakash

The Asha Nursing Home is where I spend most of my hours every day. It is located right in Dehradun, specifically in the 248001 area. My name is Saxena Anand Prakash and this is basically my second home. It’s a busy place. There is always the sound of footsteps in the hallway and people talking in the waiting area. We have a lot of patients coming in from different parts of the city. Some are just here for a quick checkup, while others stay a bit longer. The building itself has been around for a while. You can tell by the way the windows are framed. It’s not one of those modern, glass-walled hospitals you see in the big cities. It feels more grounded. I usually have a stack of files on my desk that never seems to get smaller. The staff here has been around for years, so we all know how each other works. We drink tea together in the small break room when there’s a quiet moment. Dehradun is a nice place to work because the air feels a bit fresher than down in the plains, especially after it rains. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we have the backup ready. It’s just the daily life of a medical facility. We do what needs to be done and try to keep everyone comfortable. No big speeches or fancy promises, just the regular routine.
