Sainik Tour & Travels

Sainik Tour & Travels is based at Hanuman Chowk in Raiwala. Being right there in the Dehradun district, specifically the 249205 area, we are in a spot that sees a lot of movement between the bigger cities. Our office is right at the chowk, which is a very local landmark that everyone knows. It’s a simple setup where we handle car rentals and taxi services for people moving through Raiwala. A lot of our work involves driving people to Haridwar or Rishikesh since we are situated right in the middle. The name Sainik comes from the fact that we have a lot of respect for the military presence around here, though we are just a regular private travel business. The office is small and usually has a few drivers sitting around outside waiting for their next turn. We don’t have a big fleet of shiny new cars, but the ones we have are kept in decent shape for the local roads. The traffic at Hanuman Chowk can be a nightmare during the peak hours, so we’ve learned to be patient. We just do our jobs, drive carefully, and try to be honest about how long a trip will actually take. It’s a humble way to earn a living, and we’ve been part of this community for quite a while now.
