Devsthali Institute Of Training Research Dehradun is situated right opposite Prasar Bharti on the Haridwar Bypass Road. We are quite close to the Rispana Bridge, so the traffic outside is almost always moving. It is a very active part of Dehradun. Inside the building, we have rooms for training and a few spots where we do our research work. The air is a bit cooler here in the mornings which is nice. We have students and researchers coming in and out all day long. It can get a bit hectic near the entrance when everyone arrives at the same time. We aren't a massive university with thousands of people, just a local institute trying to help people learn new things. The staff here is pretty friendly and we all know each other by name. We spend our days setting up classrooms, looking over research papers, and talking to the people who sign up for our programs. Sometimes the bridge area gets blocked up with cars, but that is just part of living in this city. We like the location because it is easy to tell people where we are. Just tell them we are across from Prasar Bharti and they usually find us. The building is functional and we keep it clean, but it is a place for working and learning, not for showing off. We focus on the training because that is what people come to us for.
