You can find the Recreation Academy Of Accounting at 1, Arhat Bazaar. We are right behind Janta Bakery, which is actually great because the smell of fresh bread drifts into our windows every morning. Being on the main road in the 248001 area of Dehradun means there is never a dull moment. The bazaar is always crowded with people buying supplies and trucks unloading goods. Our office is up a narrow flight of stairs. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the ledgers and computers we have squeezed in. The floor is covered in old linoleum that’s starting to curl at the edges. We have a few desks where we sit and go over numbers for hours. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We share a small bathroom with the shop next door. Sometimes the noise from the bakery downstairs gets a bit loud, but we like the energy of the market. We don't have a fancy lobby for people to wait in, just a couple of plastic chairs by the door. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or shuffling through folders. Arhat Bazaar has a lot of history and we feel like we are a small part of that. It’s just a regular local business doing its thing in a very busy part of town. We try to keep the windows clean but the street dust always wins in the end.
