We work out of Makaan No-7 in Lakshya Enclave Phase-2, which is a fairly quiet residential part of Dehradun. Being an associates firm, there is always a lot of paperwork piled up on the desks. We have been in this spot for a bit now, and most of us like the fact that it is away from the main city traffic. In the mornings, you can hear the birds before the day really gets moving. Raturi And Associates Private Limited is just a small team of us handling the daily tasks that come our way. We usually have the fans running during the summer months and the windows open when the weather is nice. Clients sometimes have a bit of trouble finding the house number the first time, but they get the hang of it. We don't have a big reception area or anything flashy. It is mostly just shelves full of files and people typing away. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in the neighborhood or the news. It is a straightforward place to work. We deal with the usual challenges of running an office, like keeping the internet working and making sure the files are in the right place. Living and working in Uttarakhand means things move at a steady pace, and we are fine with that. It is just us doing what we do every day at the enclave. Our desks are old and the tea isn't great, but it works.
