Our business, Rafting In Rishikesh, is actually based in Meera Nagar, Dehradun - 248001. We’ve been operating from this part of town for some time. It might seem a bit odd to have a name like that and be located in Meera Nagar, but this is where we do all our planning and office work. It’s a regular residential and commercial area, nothing too flashy. We have a small office where we keep the equipment lists and the booking logs. We aren't a big corporation with lots of departments. It’s just a few of us who know the river and the roads. Most days are spent answering the phone and telling people what to bring for their trips. We don't have any polished speeches or sales slogans. We just talk to you like a neighbor. Dehradun is a good base for us because it’s where we live and where we keep the office running. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when the season is busy, but we always figure it out in the end. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just find us through friends or by coming to Meera Nagar. We keep things simple and honest. It’s just a local business trying to keep the gears turning and making sure everything is ready for the next trip out.
