At Ocium Business Management Services Private Limited, we do things a bit differently because of where we are. We are located in Aamwala Ghanghora, which is part of the rural area of Dehradun. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the center of the city, but it’s much quieter out here. We manage business services for all kinds of people, helping them keep their operations running without them having to worry about every little detail. The air is a bit fresher here than it is downtown, which we appreciate. Our office is a simple setup, nothing like those glass buildings you see in the big cities. We have what we need to get the job done, and that’s about it. Some of us live quite close by, so the commute is just a quick walk or a short ride. We spend a lot of our time on the computer or chatting with clients over the phone to make sure their projects are on track. It’s steady work and we like the pace of it. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform; usually, whoever is closest to the door just looks up and says hello. Being in Aamwala means we sometimes have to deal with power cuts or slow deliveries, but it’s part of the trade-off for being in such a peaceful spot. We find that our clients like coming out here too because it’s a break from the noise.
