Nanda Hospital

Down at 79 Rajpur Road is where you will find Nanda Hospital. It’s a well-known street and we’ve been here for quite some time. The building itself has a lot of history. It isn't one of those new glass-and-steel structures you see popping up. It feels more like a part of the old town. We have a lot of regular patients who have been coming to us for decades. They know the layout of the place by heart. We provide general medical care for the community. The rooms are simple and the hallways are narrow, but it works for what we need. On Rajpur Road, things can get pretty loud with the cars passing by, but inside we try to keep things moving smoothly. Our staff is a mix of older experienced people and some younger ones learning the ropes. We don't have a fancy electronic calling system for appointments; usually, the nurse just calls out your name. It’s a bit old-fashioned but people seem to like that. We don't use corporate jargon or try to sell you things you don't need. If you're sick, we look at you and tell you what we think. It’s honest work. We spend our days checking temperatures, writing prescriptions, and talking to worried parents. That is the life of a hospital like ours. We just keep going, day in and day out, right here on Rajpur Road.
