N Mart Retails

Our little spot is located in Bhandari D Mohalla, right near where the old Swarn Cinema Hall is. Being in the care of Trilochan’s space means we have a bit of a unique layout inside. It is not a massive supermarket like you see in the big cities, but it gets the job done for the people living around here. Every morning, we unlock the shutters and start bringing out the crates. The street outside is narrow, so it gets crowded fast once the sun is up. We spend a lot of time rearranging the shelves because things always seem to get messy after a busy afternoon. The cinema nearby used to bring in a lot more foot traffic, but even now, there are plenty of regulars who come in for their daily bits and pieces. We have a few lights that flicker if you turn them all on at once, so we just use the ones we need and leave the rest. It’s mostly just us trying to keep the inventory straight and making sure nothing goes past its date. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost trying to find this part of the mohalla, so we have to go out to the main road to wave them in. It is a simple life, mostly spent talking to the locals and keeping an eye on the shop floor. We don’t have fancy uniforms or big signs, just a place where you can find what you need.
