We are located in Pal Mohlla, which is part of the Jollygrant area near Rishikesh. It is a busy little spot, mostly because of the airport nearby and all the traffic heading toward Dehradun. The mill itself is usually quite dusty, but that is just the nature of working with flour all day. You can hear the machines humming from the street most mornings. We have been in this part of Uttarakhand for some time now. People from the neighborhood usually drop by to see what is happening or to ask about the grain prices. It is a simple setup, nothing too modern or flashy, but it does what it needs to do. The humidity in the 249201 area can be a bit of a problem for the storage, so we have to be careful about how we stack the bags. We spend a lot of time just moving heavy sacks around and making sure the grinders are sharp enough. It is a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired and covered in a fine layer of white powder. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll just see us working in our shirtsleeves. It is a straightforward business. We just take the raw material and turn it into something people can actually use. That is basically our whole day from start to finish.
