Mamgain Homoeo Clinic

Mamgain Homoeo Clinic is situated at number 220/1 on D. L. Road. If you walk inside, the first thing you’ll notice are the rows and rows of small glass bottles filled with white pellets. That’s the core of what we do here. It’s a small place, nothing like those big glass hospitals you see in the papers. D. L. Road is always busy with pedestrians and scooters, so there’s a constant hum of traffic outside our door. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while, and the floorboards have a bit of a squeak in certain places. The waiting area has a few chairs and a ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it's on high speed. We get a lot of regulars—people who have been coming to us for years because they prefer the homeopathic approach. They usually sit and chat with each other while they wait. The desk is always covered in ledger books and pens because we still like to write a lot of things down by hand. It feels more reliable than the computer sometimes. There isn't a big staff, just a couple of us who know the inventory inside out. We spend the afternoon filling prescriptions and talking to patients about their symptoms. It’s a slow, methodical kind of work. We usually close up around seven once the last patient leaves and the street outside starts to quiet down a bit. It’s not much, but it’s our corner of D. L. Road.
