Macpro Micro Seva Foundation

You can find us at House Number 2, down Lane 12 in Ekta Vihar. We are just off Sahastradhara Road. It is a quiet little spot, which is good for the kind of work we do here. We focus on what we call micro seva, which basically means doing small things that help people get by in their daily lives. We might help someone figure out a small loan or help a local vendor get their permits sorted out. It is all very ground-level stuff. The office is really just a desk and a few chairs in the front room of the house. We have a lot of files, mostly notes we have taken while talking to people in the local market. It is not a corporate setup at all. We wear casual clothes and drink a lot of tea while we work. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise or cause a disturbance. Sahastradhara Road is always busy, but once you turn into Ekta Vihar, things calm down a lot. We do not have a big sign outside, just a small one by the gate so people know they have the right house. We have been here for a couple of years now. Most of the people who come to us are just neighbors or people who heard about us by word of mouth. We do not do big presentations. We just sit down, listen to what is going on, and see if there is a practical way to help.
