Laxmi Associates

Our office is over on Chakrata Road, right in the Prem Nagar area. If you know where the Govt Girls Polytechnic is, we are just a short walk from there. It's a decent spot to be in Dehradun. Laxmi Associates has been operating from here for some time. We deal with various property matters and paperwork that comes with it. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others here during the day. We spend a lot of time on the phone or going through documents. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we do. The view of the hills on clear days is probably the best part of working in this part of town. Sometimes it gets quite dusty with all the traffic on Chakrata Road, so we’re always cleaning the front windows. People stop by asking for directions to the polytechnic quite often, and we don't mind pointing them the right way. We have a couple of plastic chairs for anyone waiting, and usually, there’s some tea going. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything. Most people who come here heard about us from a neighbor or someone else in the local market. It’s a simple setup. We try to be honest about what can be done and how long it will take. Work keeps us here until late most evenings, especially when there’s a lot of filing to catch up on.
