Kishore Pal

Down here in Dehradun, specifically in the Salawala area, is where you’ll find me. I’m Kishore Pal. My place is at number 125, quite close to the K.V. No-1 school. You can usually hear the school bells and the kids during the day. It’s a decent area, fairly quiet once you get off the main road. I’ve been based here for a good while. My workspace is part of my house, which I’ve converted to handle the business. It’s got a separate entrance so people can come and go without walking through the kitchen. I keep things very basic. Just a computer, a printer, and a lot of notebooks. I’m not one for fancy gadgets or expensive furniture. The air is usually a bit cooler here than down in the plains, which I appreciate. Most of the people I work with are from around this part of Dehradun. We don't really do any big advertising campaigns. Word of mouth is how most people find their way to 125 Salawala. I try to be available most days, though sometimes I have to run errands in the city center. It’s a simple life and a simple business. I don't have any big corporate goals. I just want to do my work well enough that people keep coming back. If you’re in the neighborhood, it’s easy enough to spot the house. It has a small gate that creaks a little when you open it.
