We've been at 5 Moti Bazar for a while now. This part of the market is always busy. Often, people come in looking for specific blades or just to spend some time looking around. Since my father started things here, I've just been keeping the place going. Our shop is quite small, honestly. Boxes are tucked everywhere and the lighting isn't great, but we know where every single item is kept. Selling khukris is mostly what we do. You’ll find some that are old and others that are brand new. All kinds of people walk in through the door. Some are tourists, while others are locals needing a tool for work. Fancy stuff isn't really our style. If you need a knife, we just show you what's currently on the shelves. Sometimes the street gets so crowded outside that hearing each other is a struggle, but that's just the bazaar life. Keeping the stock organized is a goal, but it’s a lot of heavy metal and wood to move. It’s just us here every day from the morning until everyone closes up. Websites aren't something we have; we just stick to the physical store. Most days follow the same pattern. We drink tea, chat with the neighbors, and wait for customers. It's a steady way to live.
