You can usually hear the trains passing by all day long, which is something we just got used to after a while. The office is in a spot where there is always some kind of activity, mostly because of the crossing and the bridge nearby. It gets a bit noisy when the gates go down and the traffic starts piling up. We have a small entrance that leads into our workspace. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, a lot of paper, and the sound of the ceiling fan. Deorikhurd is a busy place, and being near the overbridge means we get a lot of people passing by on their way somewhere else. We keep the place fairly tidy, but with the railway so close, there’s always a bit of soot on the windowsills. We spend our hours here going through the books and talking to whoever stops in. There isn't any fancy signage or bright lights. It’s a very local feel. Most of us live not too far away, so the commute isn't too bad unless the crossing is closed for a long time. We just focus on the daily tasks at hand. It is a humble space for a humble business, and that’s pretty much the long and short of it. We are just here doing our thing day in and day out.
