Kaveri Spices

We are Kaveri Spices, located at Plot No. 2 5 on Chakrata Road. We are pretty close to Balliwala Chowk and the new railway station, so there is always a lot of activity around here. The shop is filled with bags of different spices. You can usually smell the pepper and turmeric from out on the street. It’s not a big place, just a simple shop where we grind and pack things. We spend a lot of time cleaning the seeds and making sure the powders are right. It gets a bit dusty with all the grinding machines running, but that is part of the job. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the neighborhood. We’ve been here at Balliwala Chowk for quite some time now. Some days the trains making noise at the station remind us of how busy the area is. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just shelves and scales. We mostly focus on getting the spices ready for whoever needs them that day. Sometimes we run out of space when a big shipment comes in, and things get a bit cramped. But we make it work. It’s just a local spice shop trying to get things done right here on Chakrata Road. Nothing more than that. We just keep our heads down, work through the bags of raw material, and hope the weather stays dry for the drying racks.
