Kapoor Export

We’ve been operating out of C- 36 Rajpur Road for quite a while now. It’s an old building, but it works for what we do. We handle exports, which means a lot of paperwork and boxes everywhere. Most of our time is spent on the phone or checking lists to make sure everything is where it should be. It’s not a very exciting place to look at. There are desks piled with files and the storage area is usually full of crates waiting to be moved. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a sign that glows at night. We just have our name on the gate. The traffic on Rajpur Road can be a nightmare in the afternoons, so we try to get our shipping done early. Some days are stressful when things get delayed at the port or with the trucks. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. Sometimes I’m answering the phone and the next minute I’m helping load a truck. We don't really have set titles like big companies do. We just make sure the work gets done so we can go home at a decent hour. It's a lot of mundane stuff but it's what pays the bills. Sometimes we stay late just to finish the customs forms. We also have to keep an eye on the courier boys who come by.
