Kanishk Hospital

Kanishk Hospital is located on the Haridwar ISBT Road in Dehradun City. It is a pretty central spot because of the bus station being so close by, so there is always a lot of movement outside our doors. Being in a place like Dehradun, we get people coming in from all over the city and even from the smaller towns nearby. The building itself is quite large and we have different sections for different medical needs. It is usually a hive of activity with nurses, doctors, and families moving through the hallways. The ISBT Road can be a bit of a mess with traffic, especially during the peak hours, but it makes the hospital very accessible for anyone traveling by bus. We have been part of the Dehradun City landscape for a while now, and the routine here is pretty much constant—twenty-four hours a day, someone is always on duty. It is not the kind of place that ever really sleeps. Inside, we just try to keep things moving as efficiently as we can. There are always charts to update and patients to check on. It is a lot of work, and the floors are always being mopped because of the constant foot traffic. We don't have time for anything fancy; it is just about getting the medical work done and making sure the beds are ready for the next person who needs help.
