Our office for Kalki Socio Nidhi Limited is located in the Indira Nagar Colony of Dehradun. You have to look for House Number 765, which is where Shri Nand Lal stays. It is a residential area, so it feels very much like home. We aren't tucked away in some big commercial plaza with neon lights. Instead, we are right there among the houses and the local shops. Every morning we open up and start going through the day's tasks. Usually, this means checking on the savings accounts and talking to the people who walk in from the neighborhood. We keep things very informal here. You won't see us wearing suits or using big words that nobody understands. We just explain things clearly and help people with their paperwork. Dehradun is a big place, but Indira Nagar has its own feel, and we like being part of that. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the rain or the people passing by outside. Other days, everyone seems to come in at once. We handle all the socio-economic work by keeping strict records and staying organized.
