Kaizen Salon Welfare Association is located down in Bhoor Gaon, specifically at number 15. This is in the southern part of Dehradun. Naveen Bisht is the one who looks after the place. It’s a local setup for folks in the salon trade around here. We aren't a big agency with a high-rise office. Instead, we work from this spot in the village area where things are a bit more relaxed. The roads around Bhoor Gaon can be a bit bumpy sometimes, but it’s home for us. We spend a lot of our time talking to local shop owners and people working in the beauty business. It’s a lot of coordination and just keeping in touch with everyone. We don't use any fancy software or complicated systems. Usually, it’s just a notebook and some phone calls. People drop by whenever they have a spare moment between their shifts. There’s usually some tea being shared while we discuss what’s going on in the neighborhood. We keep the doors open mostly, unless it’s raining hard like it often does in Uttarakhand. It feels like a community effort because that’s exactly what it is. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write polished speeches. We just say things as they are.
