It’s a busy stretch of road with plenty of people moving back and forth between the holy sites and the main town. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we get our work done. Since we are in Rishikesh, we get all sorts of people coming in. Some are locals who have lived here for generations, and others are newer to the area. We focus on the mutual benefit side of things, which basically means we help our members save money and give out loans when someone needs a bit of help with a personal project or a small business idea. We don’t have those big TV screens or shiny marble floors you see in city banks. It’s just desks, chairs, and a few fans for when it gets hot in the summer. We like it that way because it keeps things grounded. Dealing with money is serious, but it doesn't have to be cold or corporate. We know most of our members by name, and we usually have time for a quick chat about how things are going in the neighborhood. If you’re walking down Haridwar Road, we are pretty easy to spot.
