Ipca Laboratories Ltd.

Ipca Laboratories Ltd. is based out of Plot No. C-6 in the Fara Industrial Estate in Selaqui. It is a pretty area compared to some of the other industrial zones since we are closer to the hills. The air feels a bit fresher in the mornings. We do a lot of pharmaceutical work here. The building is a big white structure that stands out. Inside, it is all about the production lines. We have to be very careful with everything we touch. Most of us spend the day on our feet, moving between the machines and the storage areas. We have a lot of paperwork to fill out every single day to keep track of the batches. The cafeteria is where everyone catches up. We talk about the commute or the local cricket scores. Selaqui has grown a lot lately, so the traffic on the main road is getting worse. We have a security guard at the gate who knows everyone by name. It is a serious place because of the medicine we make, but we still have our jokes and tea breaks. Some days are stressful when there is a big shipment going out and the trucks are late. We just do our bit and go home. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things; we just follow the steps we have always followed to get the work done.
