Indian Army Hospital

The Indian Army Hospital is based in Garhi Cantt. If you’ve ever been to the Cantt area, you know how different it feels from the rest of the city. It’s very green, and the roads are well-maintained, but there are guards and checkpoints to navigate. The hospital itself is a large, sturdy building that has been here for quite some time. The hallways are long and have that specific hospital smell of disinfectant. We have many wards and different sections for various treatments. It’s a busy place with soldiers and their families coming through the gates every day. The atmosphere is disciplined but there is a lot of activity. We have a big courtyard where people can sit outside if the weather is nice. The equipment is solid, and we follow a strict schedule for everything from meals to rounds. There is no room for fluff or marketing talk here. We just do the work that needs doing. The staff lives in and around the Cantt, so we are like a small community. You can hear the sounds of drills or vehicles from the nearby base. It is a very practical, hardworking environment. We don't have fancy decorations, just the things needed for medical care. It is a significant part of Garhi Cantt, and we take the daily routine of hospital life seriously without making a big show of it or being too polished.
