Inclusive Development For Environment And Learning Foundation

We are located at L-2/76 in the Mdda Colony over in Kedarpuram. If you're coming from the Post Office in Defence Colony, it's just a short walk from there. The colony is usually pretty quiet, which is nice for the kind of work we do. Our foundation handles a mix of environment and learning projects. It's mostly just a few of us working out of a couple of rooms. The office is a bit of a mess with stacks of papers and old books on the floor. We don't have a cleaning crew or anything, so we just tidy up when we can. Sometimes we go out into the neighborhood to look at the trees or talk to some of the local kids about their studies. We don't have a big budget for fancy equipment. We use what we have and try to make it last. Most of our days are spent on the phone or writing things down in notebooks. We aren't trying to be a big name in the city. We just like being involved in the community. It’s a very hands-on job. Sometimes we get frustrated when things move slowly, but that's just part of it. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized. Being in Kedarpuram feels like home to us. We’ve been here long enough that we know the mailman by name.
