Our place is called Ica Edu Skills and we’re located at the Data Campus in Rishikesh. We are right across from Bhardwaj Hospital on Haridwar Road. If you know where Jyoti Special School is, we are very close to that too. It’s a good spot because Haridwar Road is easy for everyone to find. We focus on teaching skills here. It’s a school-like environment but for adults and students looking to learn practical things. The building isn't new, but it works for what we need. We have classrooms and some computers for the students. It gets pretty busy during the day when classes are in session. You’ll hear a lot of talking and typing if you walk by. We aren't trying to be a fancy university; we just want to help people get the training they need for jobs. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just how it is here, but we keep going. The staff knows most of the students by name. It’s a friendly enough place. We spend a lot of time updating our materials and making sure the equipment is working. It’s a lot of manual work behind the scenes. If you’re coming from the hospital side, just cross over and you’ll see us. We’ve been helping people in Rishikesh for a while now and we’re just used to the daily rhythm of the road and the noise of the traffic.
