Himalayan Institute Hospital

Out here in Jolly Grant, things are a bit different than in the middle of a big city. We’ve got the hospital set up and it’s a pretty large operation. We have students and doctors and all sorts of people walking the halls. It’s an institute as well as a hospital, so there is always some learning going on alongside the regular medical work. Jolly Grant is a quiet enough area but the Himalayan Institute Hospital is always a hive of activity. We don't have a lot of time for making things look pretty for photos. The floors are worn in places because so many people walk on them every day. We don't have any corporate headquarters telling us what to say. We just deal with the patients that come in from the surrounding areas. Some travel quite a way to get here. We have all the different wards and units you’d expect in a big place like this. It can be a bit confusing to navigate if it’s your first time, but someone is usually around to point you the right way. We aren't interested in being the flashiest hospital around. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the students learn what they need to. It’s a busy life here in Jolly Grant and we just take it one day at a time. No fancy talk, just medicine and teaching and helping the people who walk through our doors.
