We have set up our daily office on Mill Road over in Doiwala. It is situated a bit away from the main rush and noise of Dehradun city, which is something we actually prefer. The air feels a little bit different out here as you get closer to the mountains. We deal with infratech work as Himalay Green Infratech Private Limited, mostly trying to focus on green projects whenever the opportunity comes up. The Mill Road area stays quite busy with trucks and people moving goods back and forth throughout the day. Our office is just a plain, simple building where we keep our equipment and all our company records. It is not a place with a fancy receptionist or a big lobby for waiting. You just walk right in and usually find us working at the large tables in the back. We spend a lot of our time discussing how to handle the local terrain because building in the hills isn't the same as building on the flat ground. Sometimes we have to drive quite a long distance just to get to the different project locations. Doiwala serves as a good central hub for that kind of travel. We know most of the local suppliers by their first names after all this time. It is the kind of place where a simple handshake still means something real. We don't use big words to describe the things we do. We just build stuff and try to make sure it lasts for a long time. The rainy season can be tough on the hill roads.
