De Maando

We are located at No. 123 Govind Nagar Race Course. De Maando is just a small place we’ve been running for quite some time now. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it works for us. We don’t have a big team or a fancy office setup. It’s just us doing the daily work as it comes. Usually, the mornings are quiet until the traffic near the Race Course starts picking up around nine. We spend a lot of our time organizing the stock and talking to the people who walk in. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We aren't trying to do anything grand or special. We just want to make sure the work is finished by the end of the day. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and other days we close early if things are slow. We don’t have a website that’s updated often or any big social media pages. We mostly rely on the fact that people know where we are. The shop floor is concrete and easy to sweep. We have a small kettle in the back for making tea twice a day. It’s a simple life here in Govind Nagar. We don’t use scripts when we talk to people. If you have a question, we just give you a straight answer. That’s how we’ve always done it.
