We are based in Nehru Colony, right here in Dehradun. Our office is in the I-18 block, which isn't too far from Fountain Chowk if you know the area. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’ve been here long enough that most people recognize our cars. We aren't a big fancy taxi company with an app and all that. It’s mostly us answering the phones and coordinating with drivers to make sure they get to where they need to be on time. Dehradun traffic can be a real pain sometimes, especially near the main junctions, so we spend a lot of time checking the roads. Our office is pretty basic. We have a couple of desks and a lot of logbooks to keep track of where the cars are. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things get hectic when a driver gets stuck or a passenger is running late. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can. We know the routes up to the hills and around the city quite well. Most of the folks who call us are locals or people visiting the colony. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on being around when people need a ride. Sometimes the tea is cold and the phones won't stop ringing, but that's just a normal day for us. We just keep the cars running and the drivers ready to go whenever the call comes in. It's honest work and we like it.
