Gag Naula Village Foundation

We are located up here in Gag Naula village, specifically at the spot listed under Dinesh Singh Rawat’s care. Bhikiyasen is the main area nearby, and being in Almora means we deal with the mountain weather and the way life moves a bit slower in this part of Uttarakhand. Most days, it is just about managing what needs to be done right here in Nail. We didn't want to be some big city group, so we kept the foundation right where the village starts at house number one. People know where to find us. It’s quiet, mostly just the trees and the narrow roads winding through the hills. Sometimes the power goes out, or the rain makes the roads a bit tricky, but that’s just how things are in Gag Naula. We’ve been around for a while now, just working out of this space. It isn't a fancy office with big signs. It is just a regular house where we handle our daily business. If you are ever coming through Bhikiyasen, you have to follow the road toward Nail to see where we sit. Living and working in the same village makes a difference because you see your neighbors every morning. We don’t have a lot of staff or anything, just a few of us making sure things keep moving. It’s a simple setup, really. We just wanted to make sure there was something local for the people living in this corner of Almora.
