G. B. Springs (P) Ltd. is located over at 16 Ballupur Road, right near where it meets Chakrata Road. We’ve been here for years, and even have an old Post Box number, 213, which feels like a bit of a relic these days. The building isn’t new, but it’s sturdy and holds all our spring-making equipment just fine. Dealing with springs is a specific kind of job. It’s repetitive but you have to be careful. The shop floor is where most of the action is. We spend our days watching the coils and making sure the tension is just right. It’s not glamorous at all. The office is just a small room off to the side with a few old desks and a filing cabinet that’s seen better days. We like it here because it’s a familiar routine. Ballupur Road has changed a lot since we started, with more shops and cars everywhere, but once you step inside our gates, it’s still the same old business. There isn't a big HR department or anything like that. If there's a problem, we just talk it out over lunch. It’s a very direct way of running a business. We focus on the metal and the machines. People know where to find us if they need something made, and that’s plenty for us.
