You can find us at House Number 115 in Shakti Vihar, Sector-3. That’s over in the Doctor Ganj area of Vikasnagar. We’ve been running Folks Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited from this spot for some time. It’s a local place, and we treat it that way. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy lobby. Usually, it’s just one or two of us behind the desk. We help the local people save their money and maybe get a little help when they need it for their houses or businesses. It’s all very straightforward. We don’t like using fancy terms that nobody understands. We just sit down and talk through what’s needed. Dehradun is a big place, but here in Vikasnagar, things feel a bit smaller and more personal. We like it that way. Most of our members are just neighbors from down the street. Sometimes we have to hunt for a pen or find a specific folder, but the work gets done. We aren't a high-tech office. We still do a lot of things by hand because it feels more real. We’re here to help the community keep their savings in order. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is important for the people who live around Shakti Vihar. We keep the doors open and we listen to what people need. That’s our day. It’s decent work for decent people.
