Dr. Futela Hospital

If you head down Nainital Road toward the Dehradun GPO, you will find us. Dr. Futela Hospital has been a fixture in this area for quite some time now. It is a building that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. We are not one of those brand-new glass buildings you see popping up. Our walls have some history, and maybe the paint is not as bright as it once was, but the equipment works and the rooms are ready. It is a busy place. We deal with all sorts of things, from small scrapes to more serious stuff that requires staying for a bit. The staff here mostly grew up around Dehradun, so we know the community well. You will often hear us chatting with patients about local news or how the weather is changing. It gets a bit hectic during the middle of the day, especially with the traffic on Nainital Road making it loud outside. We do not have a fancy coffee shop in the lobby or anything like that. We just have a place where people can come when they are not feeling well. We work long shifts and sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, but we get through it. It is just a regular local hospital trying to do right by the people who live around here. We are practical people doing a practical job every day.
