Doon Multipurpose India Nidhi Limited

Our company, Doon Multipurpose India Nidhi Limited, is based out of Shankarpur. We are set up at Iqbal Ahmed’s place. It’s a local setup, very much a part of the daily life here in this area. We handle various financial tasks for the community. You won't find any glass skyscrapers here, just a practical office where we sit and work. People drop in throughout the day to talk about their accounts or just to check on things. Shankarpur is where we belong. We keep our records in order and try to make sure everything runs without too much fuss. Sometimes the power goes out but we manage. It’s a simple life running a Nidhi company in a place like this. We are not some big bank from a TV commercial. We are just local people working with local people. Iqbal Ahmed has been kind enough to let us use the space. It’s easy to find once you get into the village. Most people just ask for directions if they get lost. We like the pace of things here. It allows us to actually talk to the people who walk through the door. There is no rush, no loud music, just the sound of pens on paper and some quiet conversation. We’ve been at this for some time now. We like it here in Shankarpur, and we try to keep things simple as we go about our daily business.
