Dhirghayu Clinic

Our place is over in Nehru Colony, right across from the Income Tax Colony at 220 B. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, which is nice for a clinic. Dehradun has changed a lot, but this neighborhood still feels a bit like it used to. We have a modest setup here. The front door sticks a little bit in the monsoon, so you have to give it a good push. Once you're inside, it’s just a standard waiting area with some posters on the wall about health stuff. We handle a lot of the usual things like blood pressure checks and seasonal flu. The doctor has been practicing here for a long time, and a lot of the patients are more like old friends now. We don't use any fancy booking systems, just a big paper diary where we write down the names. It works for us. Sometimes we run behind schedule because a consultation takes longer than we thought, but people are generally patient. We keep a water cooler in the corner and a few chairs. It’s a practical, local spot. We don't try to be something we're not. It’s just about helping the people in Nehru Colony get through their health issues without too much fuss. The air is usually a bit cooler here because of the trees in the colony. It's a decent place to spend the day working and seeing the regulars.
