Delhi Taxi Service

Delhi Taxi Service is our little business on Doon University Road. It’s a busy spot in Dehradun, especially with all the students and staff moving around 248001. We mostly focus on those long drives down to Delhi, which is why we picked the name. It’s a lot of highway driving, back and forth, usually starting while it’s still dark outside so people can get to their meetings or flights on time. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a place to keep the keys and the paperwork. We spend more time in the cars than inside the building anyway. The traffic on the way out of Dehradun has gotten worse over the years, so we’ve learned to plan around that. We aren't a big corporation with an app or anything; we just take calls and write things down in a notebook. Sometimes a car needs a repair and that slows things down, but we try to keep things moving. The drivers are local guys who know the route like the back of their hand. They’ve seen the highway change a lot. We just want to make sure people get where they’re going. It’s simple work, really. Just driving and waiting, then driving some more. We’ve been at this for a while and the neighborhood knows us by now.
