Centre For Aromatic Plants

Being out here in the Industrial Estate in Selaqui is a bit different than being in the middle of a busy town. It is much more spread out, and there are a lot of other businesses around us doing their own things. The Centre For Aromatic Plants is where we spend all our hours. It is a lot of work with greenery and different types of oils. We have some lab equipment and some growing areas, and there is always something that needs watering or checking on. The air around the estate can sometimes be a bit heavy with the smell of machines from the other units, but once you step inside our gate, it changes to something more natural. We have a small team of people who really know their stuff about plants. Most of us wear heavy boots because we are always walking between the different sections and the ground can be uneven. It is not a fancy office with carpets or anything like that. We have concrete floors that are easy to wash down at the end of a long day. The sun hits the hills nearby in the late afternoon, and it is a really good view if you step outside for a minute. We spend a lot of time documenting what happens with the different plants we have. It’s just what we do to keep things in order. It is a quiet life here.
