You can find us at Brahmeshwarnath Nidhi Limited, located care of Lalan Tiwari’s place near the Golamber Mahabirmandir. We are just down the lane in Niranjanpur. It’s a very local spot, and we are part of the community here. We mostly deal with small savings and helping people in the neighborhood manage their money better. The office is simple and doesn't have any of those expensive decorations you see in big city banks. We have a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while we talk about their accounts. A lot of our day is spent explaining how the savings plans work or helping someone fill out a loan application. It’s honest, face-to-face work. We know the people who come in, and they know us. There’s no corporate hierarchy here; it’s just us doing our jobs. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road, but we don’t mind. We focus on keeping the records accurate and making sure everyone’s money is accounted for. We started this because we saw a need for a local place that people could actually talk to. We aren't trying to be a massive institution. We just want to provide a helpful service for the folks around the temple and the Niranjanpur area.
