Brahmakamal Foundation

We are based at 279 Doon Vihar, right off Rajpur Road in Dehradun. If you’ve spent any time in this city, you know Rajpur Road is always buzzing with people and cars. But once you turn into Doon Vihar, things quiet down a little bit. We like it that way. Brahmakamal Foundation isn't run by a bunch of businessmen. It’s just us, a small group of people who wanted to do something useful. Our office is just a room in the house where we keep all our papers and stuff. It’s not very fancy, but it does the job. Being in the 248001 area makes it easy for people to find us, which is good. We’ve had this spot for quite some time now. Some of the neighbors know what we do, and others just think we’re another family living on the block. We don’t mind. We aren't here to make a big noise. We just want to handle our local projects and stay out of the way. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit messy, but that’s Dehradun for you. We usually have some tea going and a lot of lists of things that need to be done. It’s a practical way to run things, without all the extra stuff that bigger places have. We’re just folks from Doon Vihar trying to be helpful where we can, without any big fuss about it or marketing campaigns to show off.
