Bisht Tour & Travels

Bisht Tour & Travels operates out of Ladpur, right near the Bist Dairy. We are on Raypur Road, which is a main route in the Raipur area of Dehradun. Being near the dairy makes us easy to find for anyone in the 248008 zip code. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we’ve been here long enough that most people just call us the Bisht family travel guys. We have some vehicles for hire, mostly for people looking to go up into the hills or just around the city for a day. The office is pretty basic, just a room attached to the side of the main building where we keep the registers and take calls. Raypur Road has changed a lot, with more shops popping up every year, but we’ve stayed in the same spot. Our drivers are usually cousins or guys from the village who know how to handle the mountain roads when the weather turns bad. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here. Sometimes we are busy with weddings and sometimes it’s quiet for a week. We just take it as it comes. It's a practical business. We make sure the tires are good and the oil is changed, and then we wait for the next person who needs a ride to the station or further up.
