B J K S Foundation

Our foundation is located at Pradeep Kumar Singhal’s place in Yamonatri Enclave. If you know the Sewala area in Dehradun, you probably know where Phase-2 is. It’s a decent neighborhood and pretty easy to get to once you’re off the main road. We’ve been using this address as our base for B J K S Foundation for a while now. It’s a home-based setup, so it doesn't feel like a cold office. There are always people coming and going, mostly neighbors or friends who want to help out. We kept it in Sewala because it’s where we feel most comfortable. The 248171 zip code is our little corner of the world. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. We just focus on the work we need to do. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have a lot of things to organize. We sit in the enclave and talk through our plans. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of trying to make things work with what we have. We aren't trying to be some massive organization. We just want to stay local and keep things manageable from this house. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but that’s just how it is here. We just keep going and do our best with the space we’ve got in Phase-2. It works for us and the people we know in the area.
