We are located at Sagar Niwas, which is over in Shravan Nath Nagar on Jassa Ram Road. Pankaj Sehgal looks after things here. We are near the Devnadi area, which is a busy part of town. The foundation focuses on public health, but we are not a big hospital or a government office. We are just a small group of people trying to come up with better ways to do things for the regular folks. The office is inside a regular residential building, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We have some chairs, a few computers, and a lot of books about health and medicine. It can get quite hot in the summer here, but we have a few fans that keep us going through the afternoon. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their health problems and trying to find practical solutions that do not cost too much money. We do not have a fancy reception desk or a secretary. Most of the time, someone is just sitting at the main table working on a report or talking on the phone. We try to stay out of the way of the neighbors while still being active in the local community. It is a bit of a climb to get to us, but the view of the street is nice. We are just regular people who think health is important and we do what we can from our small corner.
