We set up Astron Solpower Pvt.Ltd. in the Standard Tower on Sahasstradhara Road. It’s a good spot for us because it’s close to the Times Square Mall, which makes it easy to give directions to people. Our office isn't very large, but it works for what we do. We mostly deal with solar energy products and helping people figure out how to put panels on their roofs. It’s a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to checking on parts in the back. The road outside can get really congested in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the day. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just helping folk get set up with solar power. There is a lot of paperwork involved with these projects, so our desks are usually covered in files and diagrams. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people hearing about us from their neighbors. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except when we are testing some new equipment. We like being in this part of town because everything we need is nearby. If you stop by, you might find us drinking tea and looking over some blueprints. It’s a practical way to run a business and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and handle the work as it comes.
