Anmolpahal Foundation

Anmolpahal Foundation is based at number 7 on Bharti Bhawan Road, right in the middle of Uncha Mandi. If you know the area, you know it is always packed with people and vendors. It is a very lively place to work. We are just in a small building on the road. The name Anmolpahal basically means a valuable start, and that is what we try to focus on. We are just local people who wanted to do something for the street and the surrounding area. Our office is nothing special. It has got a few desks and a lot of maps on the wall. We spend a lot of time just listening to what the market people have to say. It is a messy process sometimes because there is so much going on in Uncha Mandi. We do not have a polished way of doing things. We just pick up whatever task is most urgent and try to finish it. Sometimes we do not finish everything, but we come back the next day and try again. It is a very human way of working. We do not use fancy words or have big meetings. We just talk over the fence or at the front door. It is a bit chaotic but it feels real and important to us in this neighborhood. We are just here to help make things a little easier for everyone on the road.
