Ambarsaria

We are located in Kailash Tower on New Road, right in the heart of Dehradun City. Our shop is quite easy to find since we are situated near the well-known Dwarka Store. New Road is always a busy place with people shopping and moving around, so there is never a dull moment for us. We started this restaurant because we wanted to have a place where we could cook the kinds of dishes we grew up eating. It’s not a massive space, but we have enough tables to fit a decent number of people who want to sit down for a meal. We don't bother with any corporate language or complicated menus. We just write down what we have for the day and get to cooking. The kitchen gets really busy during the evening hours when everyone is out for a stroll and looking for something to eat. We have a small team of cooks and servers who have been with us for a while, and we all just pitch in to get the work done. The furniture is simple and the walls don’t have any expensive art on them, but we keep the place clean and welcoming. Sometimes we have to tell people we are full and they might have to wait on the sidewalk for a bit. It’s just a small local business doing what we can to serve the community in Dehradun. We just keep it simple.
