Suresh Enterprises

Our place is located at Plot No. C1/55 in GIDC Phase-ii, over in Mehsana. It’s a bit different than the big, crowded estates in the city, but it still gets plenty busy during the week. Suresh Enterprises is mostly a place where we stock various items and handle orders for the local businesses around here. The warehouse is a bit crowded because we try to keep so many different things on hand. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know exactly where everything is kept in the stacks. If you walk in and ask for something specific, we might have to move a few heavy boxes just to find it. The office is just a simple desk with a small fan that squeaks a little bit when it’s on. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the delivery notes against what came in. It’s definitely not a high-tech operation. We still use a lot of handwritten ledgers because it’s just easier for us to manage. The weather in Mehsana gets really dry and hot, so there’s always a bit of dust on the shelves no matter how much we clean. We try to keep it tidy, but it's hard when stuff is constantly coming in and going out on the trucks. People from around the area stop by to pick up what they need for their own shops. We usually have a bit of a chat and some tea if the work isn't too pressing.
